Recorded live at the University of Warwick Students' Union, this landmark release marks the inaugural collaboration between Warwick BandSoc and Olive Hill Records.

Throughout the winter of 2026, Olive Hill Records worked alongside BandSoc to document the raw energy and creative spirit of the university’s music scene. Together, we have produced two definitive compilation albums capturing the definitive performances from this year’s Battle of the Bands tournament.

This second volume showcases the original music of the artists who took to the stage at the Semis and Finals. From indie anthems to heavy riffs, these tracks were recorded live in the heat of the compeittion, preserved for your listening pleasure exactly as they were heard on the night.

OH-007: Battle of the Bands, 2026 - Semis & Finals is available on Bandcamp, Streaming, Cassette, CD and LP.

In preparation for BandSoc's 40th anniversary, we uncovered some archive material dated 2012-2017. These were released as a part of a wider collection of 'Best of BandSoc' compilation albums on Soundcloud.

With the ongoing partnership between BandSoc and Olive Hill Records, we decided to get these recordings onto streaming services for all to enjoy.

This is the first from this collection. 'Best of BandSoc 2012' is out now on CD and streaming.

We'll be working with Warwick BandSoc to release the remaining 2013-2017 volumes over the next couple months, so the whole archive will eventually be in one place. For now, go give 2012 a spin and hear what the society sounded like back then.

On May 8th, Olive Hill Records joined Warwick OffBeat and Warwick BandSoc at LTB Showrooms in Coventry for the third annual In The Margins

In The Margins is a charity gig organised by Warwick OffBeat and Warwick BandSoc with the aim of showcasing bands at the University of Warwick from marginalised communities. We are very excited to be working with them this year for the third iteration of the event!

Headlined by our beloved Infodump, be sure to catch support acts Bloom Phase, Astraea, and Sonora.

Being a charity event to support musicians at Warwick from marginalised backgrounds, we raised £170 for Coventry Haven Women's Aid.
